I just can't believe Kendrick fell for it. Are major league teams even allowed to trade their players to Japan? The looks on his face when he hears the news, and then when he realizes it was all a prank, are priceless. It's amazing to me the number of guys in on it, too. Manager Charlie Manuel breaks the "news" to him, local reporters ask him questions, and they have an itinerary prepared for him for his trip to Japan. They even have him sign a contract! Also funny is the fact that he is traded for a guy named Kobayashi, who is the hot dog eating champ.
