After spending about three weeks in the minors, Brett Myers thinks he is ready to return to the Phillies, and apparently the team agrees. Myers will make his final minor league start on Friday and return to the major league rotation July 23rd against the Mets.
The return of Myers likely means J.A. Happ's time in the rotation is over. Happ was sent down to the minors after two good starts to keep him on a normal pitching schedule but is probably the odd man out, although the Phillies could do everyone a favor and take Adam Eaton out of the rotation instead.
Welcome back, Myers, let's hope you've got your head on straight.

Who do you think is the bigger let down so far this season Eaton or Myers? I guess I would say Myers only because I expected Eaton to implode again this year and I thought Brett had a chance to be good.
Can't we just take Eaton for a ride in a bad part of Philly and throw him out of the car?
