The All-Star teams were announced today, and two Phillies are going to New York: Chase Utley and the man with the new contract, Brad Lidge. Utley was voted in by the fans to start at second base and Lidge was selected by NL manager Clint Hurdle. Both are very deserving all stars who are at the top of their respective positions.
Another Phillie having a standout year, Pat Burrell, was chosen as one of the "Final Vote" players, meaning the fans get their say on who will fill out the roster. Burrell goes up against Corey Hart, Carlos Lee, Aaron Rowand and David Wright for the honor. Click here to go and vote for Pat the Bat.
