The predictions are already starting to come in for the Flyers/Capitals playoff series. Scott Burnside of ESPN posted his first-round breakdown, and he thinks the Caps will win in 6 games. He calls the Capitals a "juggernaut" and toots his own horn because he called the Capitals his darkhorse team at the beginning of the year.
Get ready for a lot of media attention focused on the Flyers and their supposed thuggery, with plenty of mentions of the early season suspensions. This series was billed as "Good vs. Evil" by TSN, with everyone in love with the Capitals and Alex Ovechkin. Too bad Washington doesn't even come close to matching the Flyers' depth.
I will post more expert predictions as they come out.
