A day later, the Michael Vick injury is still a bit puzzling. According to the Eagles, Vick has no broken bones from the hit that knocked him out of the game against the Redskins, but he does have a cartilage injury in his ribs. How long he will be out is a mystery at this point, with Andy Reid saying that Vick is "day to day, week to week", which really doesn't tell us anything. Reid did say Vick was sore but he wouldn't rule him out for the Week 5 game against the Niners. Of course, I'm not sure we can believe anything Reid says at this point.
While Vick didn't break any bones, running back LeSean McCoy did, as he fractured a rib against the Redskins. McCoy played through the pain on Sunday so he's likely a good bet to play against the Niners.
Also suffering injuries on Sunday were Asante Samuel and Riley Cooper, who both had minor concussions.
