Between the first and second rounds, the Flyers only had one day of rest. Now, after knocking off the Canadiens on Saturday, the Flyers will have nearly a week to prepare for their cross-state rivals:
Game 1: Friday, May 9, Philadelphia at Pittsburgh, 7:30 pm
Game 2: Sunday, May 11, Philadelphia at Pittsburgh, 7:30 pm
Game 3: Tuesday, May 13, Pittsburgh at Philadelphia, 7:30 pm
Game 4: Thursday, May 15, Pittsburgh at Philadelphia, 7:30 pm
Game 5: Sunday, May 18, Philadelphia at Pittsburgh, 3:00 pm
Game 6: Tuesday, May 20, Pittsburgh at Philadelphia, 7:30 pm
Game 7: Thursday, May 22, Philadelphia at Pittsburgh, 7:30 pm
With the Penguins finishing off the Rangers on Sunday, both teams will enter the series with plenty of rest. There will be no momentum carried over from the previous round with this much time off; hopefully this won't affect the players who have been hot for the Flyers, like Martin Biron and R.J. Umberger. Check back later for much more on this all-Pennsylvania battle.
