With the threat of losing a year of free agency if he doesn't show up at training camp by Tuesday, Philly.com is reporting that DeSean Jackson will be re-joining the Eagles this Monday. Jackson still wants a new contract but the Eagles have refused to discuss it with him until he shows up at Lehigh.
It's only a matter of time before Jackson gets the contract he is after and the Eagles know it. With the Eagles taking the stance that they won't discuss money with Jackson until he comes to camp, I'm surprised it took him this long to show up. You would think that the sooner he gets to Lehigh, the sooner he gets paid. I guess DeSean was trying to prove a point though I'm not sure it really gained him any leverage in negotiations.

I hope he reports, and I hope the Birds lock up him and Vick long term
If they lock Vick up to a contract worth slightly less money that should free up the money needed for DeSean to get his deal, too. The Eagles have had a masterful offseason and getting those two locked up would be icing on the cake.
